I found alot of mold behind my dresser and i cleaned all the visible grime but is my dresser ruined?

i decided to take out the drawers and look at the inside and on the bottom it was all rotted out but i threw away the flimsy piece from the bottom. im scared to put my clothes back in it. Is it most likely going to grow right back. Do I need to throw the dresser away? Does anybody know if there is anything i can put in/on my dresser to inhibit the growth?????
