Hi can anyone give me some advise?

i have been chatting this guy for a while and i have very strong feelings for him i feel that he is the guy for me as he is everything that i have prayed for in a guy he says he feels the same for me and that he would like to marry me we are both the same religon with the same values the proble is he lives in Africa and i live in England we feel we should be together but we dont know the best way forward my ex says he could be using me to get into the country and if we get married he will just leave me i know i love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him and i belive him when he tells me the same but what if my ex is right how can i tell if this guy is genuine and if he really does love me the way i do him and if we are meant to be together how can we marry when we are both in diffrent countrys i dont want to live in Africa and he said he will be happy to live in England as long as we can visit his familey he is a student in africa studying to become a network engerneer i would appreciate any seriouse advise please on how i can tell this love is real and if so ways that we can be together because of our religon we are not allowed to be together unless we are married and we are both happy to make that committement
