Is blue-black the sort of hair colour one can get away with in humdrum grown-up land?

Most employers will want you to look professional and having hair that color does not fit into their category of professional. It sucks but you will have better luck finding a job if you take your hair back to a natural color. It makes you more inviting to the people who aren't used to seeing unusual hair colors.
