Can you help me find metaphors in this poem?

well this poem is really bizarre. i don't envy ur study of it and i hate to think what series of hideous cirstances that brought u to studying it. anyway... the whole poem is one big metaphor. it personifies the poem and compares them to babies grown in a test tube.
