Is it a bad sign or a subliminal message if someone doesn't speak to you?

I live at home with my mom and grandma. My mom has a boyfriend that she's been seeing for years. I don't really approve of her dating this certain type of guy because we don't see eye to eye, and I've confronted him a couple times over the years about being disrespectful to her. When he comes in the house or leaves, he speaks to my mom and my grandma, and that's it! I know he sees me! I wonder why am I not gettin a greet as well. I think it's disrespectful, and I'm HUGE on respect; I feel it's unfair or maybe it's something he wants to say to me?? Sorry for the paragraph, but please give me your most honest opinions.
